Visitors to New Life are very welcome.
We trust when you visit you will feel welcomed and will enjoy the services and experience God’s presence, love and grace. Read below for more info on our Sunday services.
9:30am & 11:30am
We have two morning meetings which are usually very similar in style and content. The meetings vary from week to week, but usually include praise and worship, times of prayer and practical preaching and teaching from God’s word. We usually share communion in one of the services and there are sometimes baptisms, dedication of babies and stories of what God is doing in the lives of those who are part of New Life. It’s also a great opportunity to find out what’s happening in the life of the church. There are usually opportunities at the end of each service to chat with elders or members of our ministry team.
The Life Service has a strong focus on worship and the teaching of the Bible in an informal setting. Although it is primarily aimed at young adults the service is attended by people of all ages and backgrounds. We regularly have socials after the service which is a great chance to relax and meet people.
Access for all
Our team of signers provide BSL signing for the deaf during the 11.30am service.
There is easy wheelchair access to the main hall which includes a disabled toilet. Please note that we do not currently have a lift in our building, meaning that our first floor is unfortunately not accessible to wheelchair users. Please get in touch with us prior to your visit if you have any further questions or concerns.
Come & say hello
During our services, we distribute welcome packs to first time visitors. After our morning services, refreshments are available for first time visitors where there will be an opportunity to meet with some church leaders and members of our welcome team. You can also find out information and ask questions at the welcome desk situated at the back of the main hall.
Joining New Life
We do not have a formal system of membership at New Life. For many years we have operated on the principle that ‘If you are saved and love the Lord and this is your spiritual home, then you are a member of the church.’
Our understanding of membership reflects our desire to be committed to one another and the vision and ministry of the church in a practical and sustained way.
If you consider New Life to be your spiritual home, we would encourage you to be part of a connect group and wherever possible to get involved in some area of service within the church. We would also encourage you to keep your details up to date with us so we can keep in touch with you – please email us if your details have changed.
