Jesus said these words after the seventy-two returned with joy and reported a successful first ministry trip. Notice he did not just rejoice, but rejoiced in the Holy Spirit (or Spirit in some translations). I travel for work, and often there are moments when something happens or occurs to me and I think it would be nice if Maggie were with me to share the moment. Are you sharing your joys with the Holy Spirit, as well as your trials and prayers? Sunday by Sunday we are expecting and experiencing the presence of God in our meetings. The foundation for this is our intention to enjoy his friendship daily.
