Parking

There is very limited parking on a Sunday morning in New Life's own car park. (Another church is now meeting in the former Jerrards building next door, which means that a considerable part of the old Jerrards car park is no longer available for us to use on  a Sunday morning or at some other times of the week.)  Our car park is often only available for those serving in both meetings, for the elderly and those with a disability which restricts their walking.  The use of this car park is controlled by our car parking stewards. Please follow the instructions given by our parking stewards. If the New Life car park is unavailable they will advise you of alternative car parking arrangements.

Jubliee Bridge Car Park  (Opposite the centre, access by Booth Road)    New Life has paid for 75 spaces on Sunday's between 9am and 1.30pm.  To avoid a Penalty Charge Notices, you must find a space, then collect and display one of the A4 laminated LBC Jubilee Bridge Permits from one of our car park stewards. (They will be wearing a yellow vest and stationed by the central ticket machine)    At the end of the first service, please return the permit to the steward at the ticket machine before driving away. (This avoids  congestion at the entrance, and saves handing out permits when no spaces are available)  Please follow the instructions on the laminated permit, and remember to return to your car by 1.30pm to avoid receiving a Penalty Charge notice.     Regular members of New Life who wish to use this car park need to obtain a yellow numbered card. Please register at the Welcome desk.

If you do not have a permit,on a Sunday morning you will need to 'pay and display'. You will also need to 'pay and display' at all other times.

Local Car Parking Tariffs   There are a number of other local car parks within easy working distance including Factory Lane Car Park and Ann's Place.    For details of car parking tariffs please check the Croydon Council website.

Sunday On-Street Parking  Pay & display parking in Ruskin Road and Drayton Road (behind NLCC) on Sundays between 8am and midnight is £2.20 all day.  (Mon-Sat between 8am & 6pm is more expensive & limited to 2 hours max)
